Review of Zen’s ZEPP04M
The ZEPP04M model has an integrated 10,000mAh battery and a USB-C connection, which is used both to charge the power bank and to charge other devices such as tablets or gaming controllers. In addition, as already mentioned, there is a magnetic wireless charging surface (QI standard) on the top of the power bank so that it can also be conveniently charged wirelessly.
The scope of delivery includes the 10,000 mAh power bank and a USB-C to USB-C cable, which is 1m long. You will also receive a warranty card and an instruction manual. On the front of the power bank there is a power button and 5 LEDs that indicate the current battery charge level. There is a kickstand on the back, positioned similarly to the Nintendo Switch. The stand at the back basically serves its purpose. Nevertheless, I personally would have preferred a more balanced option.
The wireless charger is very compact with dimensions of 13.5cm x 6.5cm x 1.7cm (L x W x H). In terms of the contact surface, this corresponds almost 1:1 to the dimensions of an iPhone 12 mini. The weight is around 300g, which means it is hardly noticeable when you wear it in your pants. Due to its compact dimensions, the Zens Wireless Charger is ideal for holidays or short trips.
The charging of my technical devices always worked reliably in my tests. It doesn’t matter whether I charged my iPhone via the wireless surface or my PS5 controller via the integrated USB-C connection. The power bank never develops a lot of heat, which indicates that the workmanship and cooling are excellent. The magnetic surface holds strong enough to operate the phone by just holding the power bank. I was able to wirelessly recharge my iPhone 12 mini 3.5 times with a full charge of the power bank. To charge a device, all you have to do is press the power button on the front and the power bank is ready for use. What is particularly great is that the power bank switches itself off after 35 seconds if no devices are being charged. This of course saves battery capacity and also ensures a good longevity.
Conclusion
The Zens Wireless Charger scored well in all key areas in our test. The power bank is compact, stylish and is therefore ideal for holidays or excursions. With a price of €69.99 (with a €10 newsletter voucher, only €59.99), you basically can’t go wrong when buying the power bank. Due to the MagSafe compatibility, the power bank is particularly recommended for iPhone owners of the latest generations. Nevertheless, Android users can also use the wireless support surface.

On top of that, Zens offers a 3-year manufacturer's warranty, which gives me confidence that the products are built to last. This feature is often not available with other power banks.
